Mobile VoIP Now in Blackberry

If there was one app that all BlackBerry users wished for then that would be a good mobile VoIP client which lets you make and receive calls using Wi-Fi or 3G connections. It would be preffered if your client was made by Skype however, this isn’t the case. There haven’t been any mobile VoIP app’s for the BlackBerry. Instead, there are apps that use either callback or a local access number over the cellular networks. The other three major smartphone platforms,  iPhone OS, Android and Symbian have multiple mobile VoIP applications, such as Nimbuzz and Truphone.

With the fact that we have with us it seem that Blackberry has been missing out on a huge party. This is because nearly 100 million users are expected to be using mobile VoIP by 2012, with over 471 billion calls likely to be made via mobile VoIP by 2015. Read the full story

Nokia has finally launched its very first 12MP camera Symbian mobile phone with. The set will be first one to come to the market ever since the Operating system went open source.

However, being a Symbian mobile isn’t Nokia N8’s sole specialty, what makes it more unique is the fact that the N8 is going to be the first mobile phone to feature a 12Mp camera.

The phone boasts a 3 inch QWERTY Touchscreen, along with symbian operating system. The phone offers GPS with OVI Maps and Nokia messaging.

Opera Introduces Mini 5 and Mobile 10 Browsers

New more efficient, Mini 5 and Mobile 10 mobile web browsers have recently been introduced by Opera. These browsers have been designed especially to compress the data that is sent to a phone, by up to 90 percent. This will not only speed up the brows time, it will also result in lowered bills for pay-by-byte customers.

Both the browsers are now available for free downloads and are compatible with a wide range of mobile phones operating systems, which include Google’s Android and RIM’s BlackBerry.

According to Opera CEO Lars Boilesen, the needs and wants of their 50-million-plus users, have been kept in mind while designing this browser. Great emphases has been made on speed, desktop-like functionality and data savings in the new mobile browsers, making it much easier for everyone to surf, search and socialize on the Web.
