Once you have made it till the application store, there are two ways to find free apps for your iPhone. On your itunes, on the application store homepage, look for the caption stating “Top Free Apps” store, this would be located on the right hand side near the bottom of your webpage. Further on, click on the “Top Free Apps” header and this will then take you to the page which would list down the 100 most popular/downloaded iPhone applications.

If there is a certain category that you are looking for under the free application webpage or just want to explore the available free applications that are not listed in the top 100 then you can search for free apps using the “Power Search” option. This link would be found under the “Quick Links” heading near the top of the page on the right hand size. Firstly as mentioned above, click on the power search option to be taken to the search page and then set the heading below to “applications”. Moving on, select your handset in the dropdown box for appropriate compatibility of the application with your desired iPhone. Lastly, enter any search term that you want to explore and then just simple click the search button which should show you the desired available results.
