LG Electronics, which is a worldwide leading technology innovator in mobile communications, has announced the launch of a new mobile phone, known as the LG GD880, or LG Mini.
LG’s New phone will enter the market, having a nice range of intelligent features, and boasting a trendsetting design to go with them.
The new phone will come equipped with a 3.2-inch full touch screen display, but at the same time, it will also be proving itself as the smallest and slimmest handset in that range.
According to LG, the new device has been designed to offer a best of communication capabilities to users, but excluding the unnecessary details.
Dr. Skott Ahn, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said “We developed the LG Mini in response to specific requests from actual consumers who were unhappy with current full touch screen phones that are too bulky, too clunky and too expensive”
The LG Mini can be easily placed in your pocket, and delivers great looks at a reasonable price, along with the trendy features that people want.
The new LG Mini has a slim, compact form, but does give a solid feel when touched. With a large 3.2 inch touch screen on the front, and no buttons on the front, the phone has a simple and sleek look.
A number of features have been also added, which include the Social Network Connect, to help users stay in touch with friends through fast connectivity to Facebook and Twitter, and with instant and automatic updates from social networking sites. The updates are delivered both to the home screen and next to each contact in the Social Address Book.
The phone also has a 5.0-megapixel camera and FM radio capabilities, not to mention HSDPA connectivity at 7.2 Mbps, along with Wi-Fi functionality and a built-in GPS receiver with AGPS. The phone is expected to arrive in the market in March, however, no details on its pricing have been disclosed till now.
