Bendable Laptops

Posted on 30 January 2010

Technology never stops growing as there is still a long journey to go. If we talk about latest laptop technology then we can not say that which one is the latest because technology bring new products in a rapid manner that the one that was the latest yesterday, today it has gone behind the another latest.

A new concept in laptop technology is ready to take the lead in market; this new concept has been proposed by a designer Tommaso Gecchelin, this concept is a combination of notebook, netbook and tablet. Macbook Touch proposed by would have a basic screen, keyboard to a full size tablet on the two sided tabletop display. Don’t confuse this with the dual screen.

It is a bendable touch screen laptop that is not developed yet but it is under pipeline. And supposed to be out anytime, this amazing technology is called iSpine that will provide you working with amazing bend ability. Its designer compares his concept to have flexibility like human spine.

Set to any Position

The design that is proposed by the designer is really a symbol of beauty. Just imagine you have something that you can play with the something that contains all your desired configurations on your touch of hand and you not need to buy all devices. When you open it fully it will be open like a paper of size A4 but it doesn’t contain any dead space in its middle part and you can fold it or bend it in all directions. It is an ideal e-book reader. OLED technology is striving to make this kind of unmatchable device more possible.

It is like a canvas that can be used from broad to small purpose. It contains a magic dock that is an external device that contains the power house and USB ports. It can be twisted to be used as a stand on which computer can stand when it is extended fully. This MacBook touch would also featured with a iPen that is a kind of input device. When it would be used as a notebook configuration its keyboard would be on its screen and can be operated by touching.

Apple always come with ideas and innovations however here some thing seems to be in line what Gecchelin proposes for netbook technology. The demand of portable devices is increasing day by day. And lots of technologists are trying to bring more portable, multi functional, customizable, adaptable and flexible products in market. The Gecchelin’s design would allow more choices that is difficult to be seen in any existing product in computing industry.
