Worldwide Developers Conference 2009 (WWDC2009)

Posted on 29 March 2009

Worldwide Developers Conference 2009 (WWDC2009) has been announced by the World leading company in the manufacturing of computers, Apple. This conference is scheduled to take place in the first or second week of June, similar to every year.

The venue of this WWDC is Moscone Center, West, San Francisco and will continue from June 8 to June 12. Every one in the technology field is waiting for this happening event.

WWDC is very useful to Developers and IT professionals. They get benefit from it by acquiring exhaustive technical guidance and hands-on learning experience about upcoming and exiting technologies in iPhone OS and Mac OS X from the creators of this technology i.e. Apple engineers.

Steve Jobs, who is the Chief Executive Officer and Chairmen of this Incorporation, had told about his absence due to health problems last year. He is now currently on leave of absence (LOA) from Apple. He is cofounder of this Incorporation and his presence will make certainly a great difference is this event. His return is expected at the end of June. As this Conference is the first half of June, it’s improbable for him to attend it.

The agenda of this year’s conference is publicized earlier this month. Forthcoming Mac OS X Snow Leopard and iPhone OS 3.0 will be in the focus.  During this conference hands on technical training session will be provided to the people attending this conference.
Thus, finally, we’ll get to see a preview of what’s new in the. Also, expect the final release of the iPhone OS 3.0 update for iPhone and iPod Touch, or may be earlier than that. Other gossip about or netbook are bound to spin.

Apple likes to keep the secrets but there are some rumors about the launch of new versions of certain products like Apple plans to announce the next iPhone in June. They also may preview the software for Windows 7 i.e. Snow Leopard. Other gossips are about a hardware-updated iPhone or iPod Touch, touchscreen Tablet.

This year’s conference will be the most interesting and perhaps surprising as well. There are some ambiguities about Mac sales and Steve Jobs. There are questions in the air like will Steve Jobs retire in June this year? Their new launches will face the toughest competition in the market. All these ambiguities will be answered after the event. So wait and watch.
