We set the maximum price of top gadgets of week at $100 this time. we were looking for great gadgets at lower end of price spectrum. Our favorite ones are chimp mirrors. We loved the USB Hamster that rolls as fast as you type. the keylogger shocked us all. I would be careful to see at the back next time I use a public computer. We selected Toilet Roll for Paul Acoins (our tech guy) as he likes to spend a lot of time in loo. The bubble maker is also a great gift as it sets the mood for relaxing bath. Enjoy the list and let us know what you wish us to review next week.
‘CHIMP’ Mirrors
When you are playing Quake on the local LAN against the support desk staff you need all the help you can get. C.H.I.M.P is an early warning system that will clue you in on when to Alt-Tab back to your spreadsheet when your boss suddenly appears. How does it work? You just look at it and it magically (with its invincible powers) produces an image of what is behind you. Just like a good C.H.I.M.P. should…
Sure it’s stupid, but it works. Tail and face and appendages not included. What’s included? A mirror with the word C.H.I.M.P. on it.
Convex mirror (3 inches diameter) fits easily on either corner of your monitor with accompanying velcro. Choose between black or our new iCHIMP in stylish white.

USB Hamster that runs as you type…
Plug the USB Hamster Wheel it into your computer – and when you type the hamster will run in his wheel! In fact the faster you type the faster hammy will run! An “off” switch gives your hamster time to rest.
Everyone likes having small furry animals around to talk to, (or is that just us?) and it’s even better when they don’t require feeding, cleaning,or just watching out for to make sure the cat doesn’t get them.
Great fun in the office, or as a motivation for learning to touch type!

Spy Tool: Keylogger
Keyloggers are small, discrete, easy-to-use devices that monitor all PC keyboard activity and install in a matter of seconds between the keyboard and PC.
They capture everything that is typed into any keyboard however this device will plug into any standard 1.1/ 2.0 port and capture everything including email, instant messaging, chat room activity and web URLs.
Completely invisible for computer operation – no software or drivers required and also supports national keyboard layouts. Works with Windows, Mac, Linux.
The USB KeyLog is organized into an advanced flash file system. Retrieval of the logged data is super fast – just press a secret key combination (you can configure your personal combination) and the keylogger shows up as a flash drive so you can load or copy the log as if it was on any folder on your computer!
A massive storage capacity of 2 million keystrokes which is the equivalent of a full years typing activity stored discreetly and ready to be recovered whenever required.
A few examples where USB Keylogger might be used include:
- Parents monitoring their children’s computer and Internet use
- Employers in a company monitoring the way computers are used during work time
- Writing important documents – the keyboard acts as an archiver of data entered, helpful with recovering of important information if the computer crashes!
- Detect unauthorized access to PC, you will learn about computer use when unattended

imagine a hamster keylogger
Nice ones. I love the hamster USB can make for good company (at least assumed) when nobody is around and you are stuck with a pc.
The C.H.I.M.P mirror is so basic but such a good idea! I think I’ll have to invest in one to potentially save my job…
